iao - How is the VIX today? Is it pissed off 'cause too many people have been watching it? We've now been informed that it simply refuses to work if it gets watched and acted upon by too many people. Quite right too if I you'll forgive me for saying so. Still I must admit one nagging worry I've got and maybe many millions of others out there anxious to find out as well:- How does one know on any particular day if the VIX is pissed off that day or whether it is happy and smiling and giving the World the benefit of it's simply staggering powers to predict the future? Also more or less along the same lines:- How does the VIX actually find out about how many of us watching it (or should I say perhaps "Him" or even "Her" or "Them")? Best, L
