S&P fundamentals

barra.com

it'll be interesting that many of the sectors (housing, retail, finance, consumer-related, etc.) are probably at peak earnings and the industrial and tech are probably at trough earnings or going into trough earnings. the first looks cheap since the Fed buoyed borrowing, and the latter ultra-expensive since the interest rates don't help much in an overcapacity situation.

i agree with the last sentence of your post. but, there could be a big rise in stock prices if earnings go higher than their past peak.

don't have to justify anything -- u know that. I'm betting on another good leg up -- too much fodder behind this cr^p. I'm glad I had the sense to get out and just let 'em go ape. We'll get a little correction next week and then it will be TO DA MOON. This is sillier than Naz 5000 ... but what did you expect?
