Did Maryland just play themselves right out of a #1 seed? Now it's a very real possibility that Cincinnati could get the #1 seed in the East, while Oklahoma is given the #1 seed in the West. Maryland would find itself a #2 seed somewhere...

The tournament loss to North Carolina State at this late date may prove to be extremely costly to the Terps. Not only might they lose the #1 seed, they might also find themselves relegated to a non-East bracket, where they lose the "home" court advantage. Simply inexcusable play today...

On the flip side of the coin, Cincinnati certainly played like a #1 seed this afternoon. In the words of Elmer Fudd, "Vewy agwessive!"...

Wait and see, I suppose...
