Combjelly, Re: "They have been saying for the longest that they would release mobiles in Q1 and desktops in Q2. Show me a roadmap or statement by AMD that says different."

Here are several roadmaps from AMD that say different. Since the end of January, AMD has been saying that both desktop Thoroughbred and mobile Thoroughbred are set for Q2 launches.

According to the 8 weeks quoted from The Inquirer, that would place the launch some time in May.

OK, guess I jumped the gun on 0.13 desktop for AMD. However, overall 0.13 is going to be late, as manifested by mobile being due at the beginning of the year in the roadmap from last December, below. And, if they didn't intend to imply beginning of year, they shouldn't show the model number filling the whole space. Intel's roadmaps are that way, that is, if they're due mid quarter, they use color to show that. This statement still stands:

" This company can't hold a candle to Intel right now with regard to setting and holding to within even reasonable slips in desktop and notebook."

Doesn't matter how good it is if it's late by a ton.
