JellyWomb - You can buy your "paper launch" Pentium 4M from Dell - today:

dell.com

Of course, you hypocrite Droids said the same thing about the original Pentium 4 launch and the Pentium 4 Northwood launch...and look what happened !!

Intel drove MAD into the LOSS column with their Pentium 4 production and sales.

But...over on the Banny Mani hypocrite thread, MAD still is posting record profits, gaining market share and setting production records !1

What a HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Combjelly, Re: ""Could be a paper launch."

What are you talking about? You can get a Pentium 4-M based laptop right now. Since when do paper launches include support from several multi-national corporations? I bet you that the Mobile Thoroughbred launch won't have this kind of support.

Re: If so, it is no worse than the recent launch of the P4M...

Yes, the fact that Intel felt it had to rush it's launch of the P4M is an encouraging sign.

It would be a very encouraging sign, except that their rushed paper launch could be an attempt to stop the spread of notebooks using desktop P4 rather than a move to beat mobile Thoroughbred to market.
