Why does the left always equate protecting yourself as undesirable?Especially in this proactive kind of way. This is the single best chance of avoiding a nuclear problem. The chances of D.C. or N.Y. being nuked in the near future are obviously quite high.We are putting everyone with a chance of influence on notice.......don't do it,and don't look the other way.Or else.Gutsy and completely proper based on history.

Ya know the funny thing is ....

when Bush and Cheney were running for office , our military
according to them was completely gutted, demoralized and hopelessly neglected under the Clinton administration etc ....

but all of a sudden , very surprisingly after their election under great need and duress , that same military amazingly jumps into action , and rises to the occasion on all fronts to meet the demands of bombing , landing troops and gaining control of Afghanistan ...all in short
order .

Not taking any political stand here , but just commenting
on what an incredible recovery that miltary made in so few short months as gutted and hopelessly unprepared as was indicated before the election
by Mr's Bush and Cheney...

One can only conclude that Mr President Bush and Mr Vice President Cheney are completely adroit and consumate miracle workers .

;-)

***** But let's do have a round of sincere applause for our boys
in Khaki doing their jobs "over there" .
