Billie was not to blame entirely! Prior shortsighted foreign policies and stupid/bungled CIA operations abroad have provoked terrorists like Osama. This is not to say that the terrorists are justified in their actions. If I may be allowed to sound platitudinous for a while: it takes two to tango, and there's no smoke without a fire. Perceptions and biases and the desire for revenge cause individuals to do terrible things to one another. Then there is the human tendency to seek absolute power over others and this is sure to arouse anger and resentment etc ======> trouble without end. Why can't America let others alone? Fear of being overtaken and overcome. Desire for absolute power. Greed. Also, the government is "beholden" to pressure groups with hidden agendas/interests. Just my two bits worth!
