Oh, I expect SI Admin would consider the circumstances.

If someone told you they were gay or lesbian and "Please keep this private!" and you posted it? I expect you'd have a problem.

If someone told you they were building a large truck bomb and were going to try to take out the White House and you posted it, PMed SI Admin, and notified the cops? I think they'd figure you were a great guy and thank you.

OTOH, what I told was what Jeff told me was SI policy.

What if a guy starts following your wife around that same party with a hungry, horny look on his face, popping up in every conversation she engages in, cutting in when she's dancing, paying no attention to her requests to be left alone by him, until she's creeped out and stressed out. And the host says, "I'll tell him to keep away from her." Would you say, "No, he has a right to talk to anyone he wants to! First Amendment!"? Or would you say, "No, she should go home."? Or would you say, "Hey, good idea."?
