That's right. I tried to reduce it, with Lincoln's help if necessary, to black and white mathematics combined with common "one hand washes the other" sense. Hopefully, an observer seeing that the world of trade indeed operates combining these two, will think twice about buying into any claims of free trade "fantasies" in our thinking.

you have got it backwards. tariffs help to preserve the standard of living of american workers. free trade lowers their standard of living.

once again you have it totally backwards. free trade benefits the few (big business, politicians, cultural elites), and is harmful to the masses.
