It's really sad to see AMD continue to snatch losses from possible profits. We know which company has been scramblin' 24/7 for the last year and which one has a CEO that funds chairs with shareholder money and sells stock...while the rest get caught holding the bag.
Nothing has really changed...AMD will be the Mhz/PR loser for all of 2002. The delays just make it a little worse.
Jerry should have worried about the scalability of the P4 years ago rather than thinking the average Joe had a clue about the power of the Athlon.

Yes.. how roles have reversed. 2 years ago it was Intel scrambling to recover after failing to see the oncoming train. Now AMD is in the same position. Don't be too harsh on them Jimbo, this stuff ain't easy or everybody would be doing it.

Maybe the truth is quite simple - Intel is a much better company than MAD - which is run by a MAD man.
