Hi Duff,

Your in with AC-t @$5.74 for 3,484 shares.

Chart for Air Canada:

stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyiay[pc20!b50][vc60][iLa12,26,9!Ll14]&pref=G

From the chart of AC we can see that after putting in a good base around the $5.00 price range the stock took off to the upside last week on increasing volume. The chart indicators have turned very bullish. The close on Friday took out last November's high which should bode well for next week. JMO

Good looking chart Duff that appears ripe for a good bull run. Thanks for bringing it our attention.

Good luck with this pick,
Al

ps...I hope I didn't give your pick the kiss of death. <ggg>

Globe says Research Capital upgrades Air Canada again

Tue 12 Mar 2002

The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, March 12, edition that Air
Canada jumped 14 per cent or 82 cents to $6.56 on the Toronto Stock
Exchange Monday. The Globe's Keith McArthur writes that the stock of
Canada's near-monopoly airline climbed above its Sept. 10 close as
investors reacted to news that passengers are returning to the skies more
quickly than expected. Air Canada said Friday it will hire back hundreds of
laid-off workers to respond to a surge in traffic. Research Capital analyst
Avi Dalfen Monday raised his recommendation on Air Canada shares from
"hold" to "speculative buy." It was the second Air Canada upgrade this year
by Mr. Dalfen, who had an "avoid" recommendation on the shares throughout
2001. Mr. Dalfen says Air Canada's overlevered balance sheet, however,
remains a concern. Mr. Dalfen says there may be ways for Air Canada to deal
with its debt, such as selling all or part of its regional airlines. On
Dec. 31, Air Canada's debt stood at about $11.7-billion including operating
leases. Shareholders who bought at the Oct. 19 low of $1.64 have seen their
shares' value quadruple. Mr. Dalfen believes the shares could reach a high
of $9 within a year.
