I wonder why the Intel cheerleader squad is so anxious to launch multiple, personal attacks against anyone who dares to invade your little daydream.

Intel pulled in its mobile parts launch - get over it. Why they did it probably won't be clear for a couple of months, but they did.

When the PIII-Ms were released you could get them at Best Buy. The only mobile P4's you can get at a retail store are using desktop units. Note that AMD generally doesn't do any better than this for their mobile launches, but Intel, selling at 50 times what AMD sells for as a stock, was supposed to be able to do better.

If Intel can't do a launch any better than AMD does, maybe it isn't going to be selling for 50 times what AMD sells for much longer.
