You are right there, Flap. Once this cat is out of the bag, then it changes the rules of warfare forever. However, your fear of Dr. Strangelove is simply a fiction. No general answering to the Constitution of the United States wants to unleash a nuclear weapon, but they darn well better be prepared so the likes of Saddam Hussein don't take their chance. Loonies in Europe and Great Britain always want to distance themselves from the U.S. That way they can feel justified into getting into scrapes by themselves. Of course, we are always there to rescue them.
