And I'll not put you on ignore 'cause I'll miss such pearls of wisdom as

Invest in this company at your own risk IMHO

Thanks for underwriting everyone's risk in Sun until now. I has thought that the Greenspan put was working for me. All along, it was the Brian Kerecz put. No wonder it hasn't worked all that well. Or was it the memory that Sun got from IBM?

We're no longer buying IBM SRAM [static RAM]. They were the biggest source of the problem for us. They knew about it before, and they didn't tell us . . . But IBM sure made a big point of telling all of our customers about it a year and a half ago. But we don't have that issue anymore. We designed IBM out and put [error checking and correcting logic] across the entire cache architecture.

Is it not the very same IBM that magically found 12 cents of earnings under their Christmas tree on the last day of the year 2001? Gee, Santa must must be an accountant 'cause that allowed IBM to beat earnings estimates by exactly one penny. IBM must have been veddy veddy good in 2001.
