I beg to disagree. I interviewed 6 people for a job position last week. One was an outside contractor to large utility company and after 12 months on the job could not continue to work as per IRS rules. Second, whose last name was same as one of the 9/11 hijackers, also was an OC to big pharmaceutial company also looking for work after 1 year assignment. Two others had jobs that were moved out of state. The last two were looking for career changes.

By and large, all of them had been on interviews and I assume they will be employed very shortly even if it is at lower pay.
The only troubling fact I see is that people seem to be forced to keep nose to grindstone unrelentingly but what did you think that everyone was going to retire on JDSU, CSCO and RMBS holdings.

Let's just say I understand what you mean and that neither your opinion or government statistics dictate that much in my life.
