Religion shapes our beliefs, our thinking and our emotions. Every social, political, economic, and theological idea is impacted by our religious training. If your religion teaches you universal love, respect for the dignity of all men, the law of mercy and forgiveness instead of an eye for eye, and the Christian concept of the universality of the love of God, these ideals will shape your political, social, and economic thoughts of that individual.
