Hi all, Infineon seems to need extra capacity for memory production no less.

Cordob,

Hi guys what is the schedule (and who designs/makes it) for a dual channel DDR northbridge for P4?

Intel has a chipset for servers, and another one for high end PCs / workstation on schedule for the end of the year. Via (I believe) and Sis also have dual DDR chipsets on their roadmaps, I don't know the schedule though. I believe sometimes this year.

nVidia already has a dual channel DDR chipset for Athlon, and later on in 2003, AMD will have a dual channel DDR memory controller built in on CPU die.
