Morning HT,

We narrow it down using volume (minimum 200K ave. per day) and float minimum 12 to 15 depending on daily ave. volume), then look at support targets and try to buy within those. Our screening matches many of the IBD strongest stocks, but not always.

You can do well looking in IBD, keep your eye on a group and wait for some profit taking to enter. Years ago I use to watch a group of stocks and check every day for one or more to fall below their 7 day moving average, then buy on first break of a daily high afterward.
