"Waiting until you are absolutely sure the trend has changed from a bear to a bull is not a good strategy"... Anyone that claims to be a trader (day, swing or position) should have found at least one mount to advantage this rally that started in Sept 01. Waiting until you get a confimation that a lt downtrend line is broke is just playing into the hands of them that hold the price stamp." LG you know there are times when a person tries hard to convey a message by posturing or by the language they use but instead a completely different (more honest) message is received by people on the receiving end. Your post to TW as well as your last post to me tells me that you obviously have some problem with me. In my post to you a couple of weeks ago I offered you an opportunity to push any misunderstandings aside and if you had a difference of opinion regarding the direction of the market to bring those differences to light. That's what these forums are for. Instead, you wait until 12 days later, at the beginning of this latest rally to send me some four word post. Now you step into my conversation with TW and instead of posting your comments directly to me (since they were directed at me) you post the comments above to TW. Both messages you choose to handle yourself in some candya$$ way by not going directly to the source. So what's your problem. My guess would be that you're not quite sure that you're getting the respect you think you deserve. It can't be because I'm some a$$ that constantly grates other posters. I make it my business to keep my nose clean. I will tell you, what bothers me most is your condescending tone of your lecture. The first rule of this game is to keep your ego in check. You seem to be wallowing in yours. Now I'll tell you that I don't mind the lecture if I felt that I could get something out of it. But considering you know nothing about my work or even my reasons for posting on this thread you sure are willing to go out on a limb to criticize them. Let me answer your comments directly. In almost all my posts I have tried to point out examples of stocks that I felt were in technically risky areas. Like my call of CSCO breaking $18, afterwhich it hit $14. Or my negative comments on IVGN (2/21) when the stock was trading at $53, price on 3/01 $31. That's a $22 dollar move in six trading days. Or what about the call that went totally against my originial statement. I said that Japan was about to hit new lows. Which it did for about one day and then completely reversed and took off like a rocket. Why do you think I would take the time to post those observations but yet not take advantage of them? Regarding what I've been saying lately, about weak (or strong) individual chart patterns leading the indicies, this was meant to convey how I would approach this RECENT rally in prices to see whether or not it's for real. So you are either not reading my posts thoroughly or I'm doing a poor job of translating or like I said your problem is with me. How you handle yourself from here is up to you. You want to get the last word in and then bury the hatchet, I am willing to do that. If not just put me on ignore. Regards, SO
