Internet explorer repair tool

Go to control panel/ add-remove programs and highlight internet explorer and click remove button or go to start/run and type in msinfo32 and click ok. Under tools you should find internet explorer repair tool. If it's there you can choose to revert to the previous version, repair, or remove. Try the repair and if it doesn't work try going back to the previous version. That should get you back to ie 4 and then you can download and install a later version. Let us know what you do and how it goes.
