RtS, thx for your comments. Phoned up a friend of mine who works at a distributor. Of course he knows about AKM, CRUS and ESST and NJR. He said ALL consumer related stuff will be up. Sales are booming for this type of thing. Consumer "brown goods" and even more those digicam electronic circuits (think about Flash, imaging sensors and camera electronics) will enjoy a surge in demand.. He also says mixed signal currently sells best. Think about this: almost ANY SENSOR product and ANY ADC, DAC etc. is a mixed signal product. Even those motor controller ICs that NJR makes.. He said they are usually not very prone to substitution because that would entail an entirely new design. So if you got FCS you should keep it. I wished I bought under $23 anew.. rgrds CROSSY
