However most of those people also played some games or had kids who played some games as well.

While the pentium/celerons were equivilent on the first 2 tasks, the k6-2/3 did not do well on the last one. I'll just let it go. I am just surprised anyone here believed the k6-2/3 were really better general processors then the intel equivilents that were out at the same time.
