I agree with you on this one, but let's see what the next version of Star Office has to offer. If it is a substantial improvement, the move away from Office will start to take off. With everyone using an online email provider now, as long as the word processing system and spreadsheet programs are adequate, that will undercut any reason to spend the $300 on Office. Computer buyers will rather use that money to get a higher end LCD monitor or better graphics card.
