>Also, if you can't see that the guy is pissed because of the ban over there

The guy was pissed before he got banned- it contributed to his ban, in fact.

> bunch of people can't leave this thread, WHICH IS NO DIFFERENT TODAY THAN IT'S BEEN THROUGH MOST OF ITS HISTORY

Paul was not inflammatory at all for at least the first year of the thread... we've been over this before- I'm still trying to figure out exactly what happened there.

Hi Tony and Thread, RE: "this thread gets barraged by a ton of AMD faithful from over there"

It wasn't always like that.

There was a time when the AMD thread (unmoderated) was for those certain types of exchanges. The classiness of the Intel thread was such a strong contrast that several posters, including yourself, would comment on it.

It seems that both AMD & Intel folks congregated on the AMD thread if they really wanted to rip into each other, while the Intel thread was more focused on investments, heated investment debates, or a bit of witty humor and friendly discussions. The verbal punching, repetitive in nature, seemed to occur only on the AMD thread, while the intelligent, witty and humorous posts landed on the Intel thread.

Maybe folks can take the punching back to the AMD thread, just like the good old days? I bet some of the mod AMD folks would begin to congregate on the old AMD thread if Paul showed up there once in awhile - he's a magnet for them. When Paul got banned from the mod AMD thread, some of the AMD folks decided to land here and post in volume, rather than on the old AMD thread.

Regards,
Amy J

Tony -

Paul's offensive behavior drove me off the Intel thread a couple years ago. I bet I'm not the only one.
