the only way you're going to defuse Islamic radicalism is the way Islamic radicalism has traditionally been defused, and that is on the battlefield.

i do not disagree...i just hope a few million or more don't have to die first.

No, certainly not - the vice president, Tarik Aziz is a Chaldean Christian, and the Baath party ideology was founded by a Christian Arab, Michael Aflak.

BTW, here's a quick Hussein bio from a Pakistani web site - anybody know anything about this "defencejournal" ? Unless I'm mistaken the cover of a recent issue looks like they used photoshop to put Musharref's head on a uniform !
