LOL... If this thread required unbiased characterizations you and I would have gone the way of Durray a long time ago... Not that I believe it requires any bias to arrive at the same conclusion. It also doesn't require much examination to see the difference between the Soviet Union and Islamic Fundamentalism or even radical Arab nationalism. The primary difference being rational thought and an available pool of suicidal fanatics. An example of rational thought (since it is obvious you require a few) might be that mutually assured destruction does not result in the destroyed parties being served by the other (along with 72 virgins) in the afterlife.
