c2,

<< Ducks ... Got a laugh out of me. >>

Thought it might.

Me too when I saw it.

<< WTF RGB is >>

The color spectrum produced by dots of red, green, blue, on displays, unlike the color spectrum produced by dots of CMYK (Cyan. Magenta, Yellow, blacK) in 4 color process digital printing.

<< why is it any different (or better) than what the Koreans and Japanese do? >>

Koreans and Japanese are using RGP, and are at the head of the curve, display technology wise.

One reason they have been able to ramp quickly is both countries have color content suitable for mobile displays available and they have mickey moused some color browsers together. Combination of the 2 allows them to sell phones at a very premium ASP in good volume if not great volume.
