re: slow down with your accusations
accusation? That is a bit strong, don't you think?
re: i did not say that intel was overlooking europe those were your words :-))
not in those words but not marketing hard sounds pretty close :-))
Joe posted the following link:

which states that Intel is aiming at marketing in such small and remote places as Cyberia and Mongolia. It ia hard to imagine that intel would go after Cyberia while leaving a "hole" in Germany.
re: what i said was amd apparently is marketing hard in europe (ie marketing with f-1 etc as opposed to nascar). of course, this might be the effect of a marketing hole left by intel but that is just speculation :-))
That was the point. Just because amd is putting more in Europe and just because it is relatively more successful that does not necessarily mean that intel is overlooking Europe. The implications of "overlooking" is that amd is at mercy of Intel and Intel can take market back if amd would behave badly.
AMD is a viable competitor to Intel. Why would not it be possible that European markets are sufficiently different from US to give amd extra advantage?
re: i think you have perfect english
thank you, you're flattering me :-))
