I'm naive on military questions?.....who wants to shove his head in the sand & hope the terrorists go away?

We could avoid a nuclear or biological attack by putting Saddam Hussein out of work. Tony Blair made almost the same statement yesterday when he pointed out that Hussein is the only world leader who ever used biological weapons on his own people. Sounds as though he & Pres Bush are starting the sell for the next move.

"Attacking a ruthless enemy who is trying to acquire(if he has not already done so) weapons of mass destruction is using preventive strategy. By doing so, we very well may avoid a nuclear attack" - Ann C.

"As for you last sentence it defies logic and makes absolutely no sense" - rich4eagle

Why does that not make sense to you? Your not understanding that very simple premise indicates that you don't think very logically.

Clinton refused an offer to have bin Laden turned over. Said we couldn't make a legal case.

You're going farther and farther off the deep end. Pretty soon you'll be saying that Clinton DID get bin Laden, and had him in prison, but the Republicans, led by Jesse Helms, stormed the prison and freed him.
