John,
Morpheus is essentially dead as we knew it. It had licensed its technology from KaZaa.com, and KaZaa just brazenly cut off Morpheus after Morpheus refused to pay increased fees to KaZaa to license their technology. As a result, Morpheus had to morph <groan> into a Gnutella network participant. The Gnutella interface sux, and also doesn't work very well for many of us.

Last night I went to KaZaa.com and downloaded their software as well as a patch which transferred my entire Morpheus library of downloads to the KaZaa software. The download speeds were great, the interface is also quite good. So right now I would recommend downloading KaZaa from KaZaa.com, and forgetting about Morpheus.

The interface is in most respects identical to the old Morpheus.
