Buchanan's use of percentages and statistics is pathetic imho. << i think you want to pigeonhole buchanan the way everyone else does. you want to turn the debate into free trade vs no trade. buchanan believes in free markets, just as long as they serve the best interests of the nation. he believes in fair trade. >> What are the factors that causes the depression? << that is a whole different can of worms. it certainly wasn't the result of tarrifs. >> We will have a depression for sure if we just have some hard boiled brainless political speeches thrown about. << what does that have to do with free trade and tariffs?
