That's why (cooking destroyed the vitamin c. )I have to import Wobenzym N from Germany to replace the enzymes cooked off my food. Technology is devastating to natural foods. Take Stink Eggs, for example. Native women buried salmon eggs in lichen and dug them up as a delicacy a couple of weeks later. When they started using Tupperware, they got very sick (or died) because toxins built up anaerobically.
