Amy, Re: what's your take on the economy in Eastern Europe? I hear the economy has picked up over there, relatively speaking. In Eastern Germany unemployment is still twice as high as in Western Germany and the economy isn't really doing better relative to the West. Right now Germany's economy is the worst in the EU (from a growth standpoint). Of course that might change when the states from Eastern Europe joins the union. (just kidding) I am not sure if the economy is doing better there relatively speaking but judging from the fact that some of them are still in jeopardy to fulfill the EU joining criteria I doubt it.
