Ah, that was like a good belch...loud and catharic. However, Mr. Chang was most propitious in his timing of St Gauden's buys and sells at retirement...basically a huge re-valuation made it possible for him to live out his years more or less comfortably.

And it would have behooved his daughter to have become aware of her father's "penchant" much earlier. Perhaps he would have left the "overage" to her instead of an old friend. Mayhaps his friend needed them more than the daughter. Here's hoping Chang's daughter neither is employed by Arthur Anderson or has a wad of Enron shares...
