A jet is what takes off thousands of times every day in the US. Huh? Is that an attempted definition? Don't birds take off thousands (or millions) of times every day, too? Jets take off thousands of times every day outside the U.S., too, don't they? Isn't your definition of "jet" over-broad and not descriptive? Or, as Flapjack might put it, "bla bla bla." Or, in Duray's terms. Now, after you're done with your English lesson, what point were you attempting to put across?
