this has been roundly condemned.it is a no-brainer to take a position against it. but, it is a given. shimon peres says there will be more terrorists if israel kills civilians. the relatives of those killed are potential terrorists. even arafat condemns killing of all innocent civilians.some make excuses for freedom fighters opposing illegal occupation. it wouild take tremendous amount of killing of arabs to come close to wiping out terrorism. it would have to be clear that israel or others would definitely punish terrorists and the people they are representing and would not be stopped from doing so before terrorists would stop or almost stop.

i don't understand what hamas stands to gain by following quote. they won't get most jews to leave israel. they won't be able to defend palestinians if israel chooses to attack them.
A Hamas leader, Abdel Aziz Rantisi, threatened bloody revenge. ''We have no choice but to kill the occupier, to kill him everywhere, every village and every city. There's no other way to defend ourselves,'' he said.

this could only work if they used weapons of mass destruction
