There are infra deals. But they are 2G. Like here in Brazil. And 2G is now cut throat to spread GSM footprint.

IT is MMS or bust.

c2,

<< Any discussion about infra financing deals? >>

No, and I wouldn't expect one in a Nokia mid-quarter update.

<< I'm a little surprised that the infra is not selling as well as one would think despite generous (150% in some cases) financing. >>

Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, Nokia's CFO, said in the conference call that 2G sales
reflected weaker demand than expected in Europe and China. But he pointed out that 3G equipment shipments to 35 customers were taking place now and would not be recognised as revenues until mid-2002. "Underlying business volume is higher than you can see on our top line," he said.

Financing is used strategically and it is generally not used for 2/2.5G which is where the softness in revenue relative to this quarter is.

Essentially there is NO revenue recognition yet for deals that involved financing.
