Engineer.. you're not missing anything, the argument is stupid. Its not about the stock, its price or trading.. just two ego's butting heads. LOL

Question is.. we're going into warning season. Others besides LU will announce some negatives relative to the optimism which has pushed many techs higher in a short time.

So will other negative pre-announcements impact LU's price further or is this it? Is there a real recovery going on with LU's business specifically and in the industry's demand world wide? Answer these questions and you've got a trading opportunity, an investment or a decision to look elsewhere to make money.

You are correct. I look at all my long term holdings as a percentage and never as a dollar issue. This type of discussion pops up every so often.

I am referring to a "trading" style that "day traders" often use. We never get caught up in percents even though that argument is very important! My point to the poster was not to be right or wrong but to look elsewhere when trying to short issues like this for trading purposes. It's to tough technically to predict $.25 "pops" and "drops",(5%+/-) aka, trading ranges at these levels. That's all I was pointing out.

Many institutions hedge positions on a techinical basis but we were discussing just the retail guy/gal!
