There were actually hundreds of notes this weekend, but the thread's alert censors deleted them. This thread is among the few threads on SI that has strict, impartial standards for posts. Clueless bullish notes at market tops are sternly and promptly suppressed.

Well, maybe that's not exactly true, since this isn't a moderated thread. The truth is that I was on supervised home release for the weekend, and so I didn't have access to the facility's computers. Because my husband is suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome (a debilitating contagious disease he contracted at a Barry Manilow concert, oddly enough), he can no longer keep his job as a part-time night watchman at a waste management plant, so we can no longer afford a computer at home.

Perhaps when Newt Gingrich emerges on the political scene again, every American home will be provided with a computer (and maybe even a surveillance camera). Until then, we have to learn to do without.

There's been some interesting divergence today. Look at the S&P.
