You are coming close to saying that a liberal outlook is the product of education and exposure to critical thinking techniques. Not that I disagree! -g

Then there's the implied corollary about the conservative outlook, which can be teased out from that. And with which I don't agree, by the way. Without knowing the statistics, I'd say that college and graduate-level education is pretty well spread out among liberals and conservatives.
