No. Say you have 10,000 employees, and you want 8,500 of them to have the latest version of MS Office on the PC they are using at the time, unless it is a laptop and subject to minimum spec. So you automate it using Active Directory and MS Office deployment tools. Or you save some money and use Star Office or Smartsuite but end up spending all the savings and more on the extra employees you need to do the installation and maintenance manually. Not to mention the cost of downtime to account for the delay between reporting the problem and getting it fixed.
