martin001, part of the concern, I believe, is the repatriation of foreign funds to bolster their own assets for the mtm process. There was someone on CNBC this a.m. at some ungodly hour saying he is seeing it start to happen ... fwiw.

I believe this is the biggest MTM yet, so they will likely have to sell something to meet capital adequacy requirements. The drop in the dollar could be one sign that we may still get that.

Sure is interesting that they picked now to restrict short sales.
