Elmer- Intel advances their roadmap

Sounds to me like Intel is getting worried about Hammer. Why else would the Intel suits be thumping their chests about something they will do in 10 months? This is very unusual for Intel, shows they are worried.

That contradicts their March roadmap where they only have a 2.8 GHz P4 targeted for Q4. So does that mean that 3.1 GHz will be available before year's end or is this just a misunderstanding of what Mike Splinter said (e.g. shipping vs. availability)?
