California State Attorney General Bill Lockyer is filing charges against four energy companies, claiming they unjustly profited from last year's power crisis. The lawsuits claim antitrust violations, breach of contract, and violations of unfair business practice statutes and seek more than $150 million dollars in penalties, restitution, and disclosure of profits. Energy producers named in the suit include Dynegy, Reliant, Mirant and Williams. Williams is parent to ENL.
