All that news that I just posted were today's news. Brand new contracts and products. Now compare Lucent to all the other telecoms. Which one that comes out with sequential growth (and I don't care if it's "modest to 10%" growth or not). ALl the others have had huge sequential revenue declines, product cancelations and shrinking market share. On the other hand, Lucent reiterated even today while lowering that sales growth, that they will indeed post growth in sales, growth in earnings, growth in margins. They've updated their product portfolio while others have been canceling their products, and they continue to announce new contracts. Half a billion just today.

Now, I'm not going to say that capex is not declining and that Lucent is not in a bad market right now, but at $5-6, Lucent is an incredible bargain IMO and I will continue buying every time we are in this range. I have my LT shares that will not be touched till we see $10+ and my short term trading shares which I will continue playing with in the mean time.

JMHO.
