Somewhat strange that Intel expects to get more than a 50% boost from going to 0.13 micron this year while AMD is indicating much less on their roadmaps

This is exactly what many of us have been telling you for months. AMD has been at .13u transistors for a while now and won't see much of a boost.

Remember, Intel is going from 0.18-micron with aluminum to 0.13-micron with copper.
