"..Telecom companies say they are nearly ready to go with 3G.."

==========

This is such a chuckle.

How long can 3GSM clowns keep the balls in the air?

How long can they maintain the lighter than air illusion of progress?

To add insult to injury, that GPRS "bridge to 3G" unicycle they're riding has a flat.

3G Handsets.... absent?

Didn't they look in NOK's pocket?

Hardly begun, CEBIT is a sad failure for Europe's carriers and vendors.

This may be a great year... to watch 3GSM evolution crumble.

I want a front row seat.

Yep.
