Despite the high valuation of Intel vs. AMD right now, I think going long AMD is better long term strategy. I take the view that Intel is fairly priced and AMD is undervalued.

OTOH, if AMD is fairly priced, or high priced, then Intel would be a screaming sell.

Intel has a fairly clear field for the next two quarters - if it weren't already priced so high, I'd call it a good buy.

I certainly wouldn't short it right now.

But, I have to admit, my interests are more in the technology than the stock. At this point, I'm on this thread as much because I won't back down from personal attacks, as anything else.
