Thanks Jeff,

I fellow suffering Orange fan and myself put the stats together for a pickem group that we set up. Used a vintage 1998 NCAA Tourney stat book and the net to research the data.

Hi Jeff,

Well, I finished filling out my brackets, on paper anyway.

I went back and reviewed Dennis's post regarding past upsets. Maybe I have a tad too many. I don't know. On the other hand, if I'm right, no one will beat me... I don't think that 37 upsets out of 63 games is so far-fetched...

I have some technical problems as well. In the Championship game, I have Siena (I changed that from Alcorn State earlier this evening figuring that if Siena was good enough to beat one of my final 2 teams, then they deserve the nod.) versus Hampton. However, I notice that in one of the earlier rounds, I had Hampton losing to Texas Tech, so there would seem to be a problem that I'll have to fix.

And I just noticed that Hampton and Siena are in the same East bracket, so they both can't get to the Final Four. Maybe I'll take another stab at it later tonight with a new set of darts. The old ones are sorta dull at the moment. But all in all, things look pretty good right now. Except for having picked Alcorn State, which fortunately doesn't count against me, I think I'm sitting pretty going into Thursday's games...

KJC

Ok - I'm in...

Maryland, Kansas, Gonzaga & Duke - Final Four

Maryland Beats Duke by ONE 75-74 in OT

Highest ranked team I choose was BC (11) over Texas in Round #1.

Also selected (2) #9's, and (3) #10's
