Bush 41 banned the importation of AK 47s. Later, Sec. of the Treasury and head of the BATF, Lloyd Bentsen allowed a shipment of 300,000 of them to be imported.

But at best an AK 47 kills 1 person per bang. Magazine capacity is now limited to 10 rounds. OTOH a jet full of fuel hitting a building kills how many per bang? A nuke in LA? Poison gas in Chicago?
